Oh my goodness I am so embarrassed at how long it has been since I have blogged for Ari Photography. (Don't even ask how long its been since Ive written on my family blog I dont even remember the password!) Pathetic.
About 6 months back I did what I NEVER EVER do and took a stroll down other photographers websites, blogs, facebook walls et. This is such a no no for me! Why? Because I become so overwhelmed with "biz to dos" that I often come to a standstill. Sure enough I was blown away by another photographers blog so I jumped on the train and paid to have this blog (Versus the free "blog spot") in order to have real creative control on the blog. Dont get me wrong, this blog company is fantastic, they are the same as my web company {Shout out to Photobiz! Woomp Woomp}. They're worth every penny, but when you dont kee it up well.....
So... There it stood. A few blogs and bam. Back to life with what was then 3 little boys. Dax my baby at 4 months and only until recently, at 10 months old is he finally sleeping through the night leaving mommy, well not getting enough sleep:) The fact is that life gets in the way of what keeps a business running and more than just a business!
So on my to do list has been to blog about my shoots and the adventures in Ari Photography Landia. The fact is that a business is more than its work, its about personalities. So I am going to be as much "ME" as possible and let go of all the professionalism in this blog. I was working on my Workflow chart the other day, came across a couple of photographers' blogs after googling in "Professional Wedding Photographers Work Flow Charts". Some of these photographers had me cracking up! One gal admitted she deleted her flow chart 2x after having spent so many hows creating and recreating it! I loved her honesty. It put a smile on my face and dont we all need a few more smiles in life? So if by being me, true and candid, I can let you guys see a bit deeper into the life of Ari Photography while also putting a smile on your face Im all for it.
We've had some fantastic and exciting shoots since December that gosh darn it deserve some web time! These models and clients rocked the house! The images, however, have been waiting in a "Blog" folder on my desktop for 6 mths now! I want my clients all to know that they are each blog worthy! But in efforts to catch my little bunnies up to speed on the blog so I can really start doing some quality blogging I am going to post only a few highlights to be continued in the following blogs...
